Choosing a taxidermist to
mount your trophy
So how do you go about picking the right taxidermist?

Probably the biggest mistake hunters make is trying to find
the  cheapest taxidermist there is.
Chances are if the price is cheap the work done will be too.

Don't be afraid to go to different taxidermists and take a
look at their work.

If you are serious about getting a quality mount, a good
taxidermist will appreciate the fact that you are  dedicated in
finding someone to mount your specimen properly, and honor
the animal  as it should be.

Quality work, with quality materials and a tanned, not dry
preserved hide won't be cheap, but years down the road, your
trophy will look as good as it did the day you brought it
home.

I pride myself in the fact that I stay up to date with the
latest innovations in the taxidermy industry, I attend
seminars and taxidermy contests to further my skills and
make sure the mount that you receive will be the highest
quality available.
When it comes to your trophy I don't cut corners.
Are the ear edges aligned correctly?
Are the ears drumming?
Are they the right color?
Is there an ear canal present?
Do the eyes look real?
Are they focusing on something or do
they just have a blank stare?
Do the lashes look right?
Is the color around the eye correct?
